Affiliate Links

Sometimes I post “affiliate links” in my content. If you click on one of these and buy a product, I get a small commission. It does not increase the price of the product for you to purchase it using my affiliate links. If you find that a link is broken or links to something objectionable, please let me know via my Contact page. You are always free (and encouraged!) to substitute different products or (even better) use something from your stash.

Why do I include these links? It costs money to run the blog, including WordPress fees, domain name fees, and the cost of materials. I have chosen to use monetization methods like ads and affiliate links so that I can offer patterns and content for free, without charging subscription or pattern fees. I think it makes sense to be paid by companies that actually profit from makers, not makers themselves.

If you are looking for advice on monetizing your own blog, please consult a professional financial advisor. I do not provide financial advice on this blog.
