Several years ago, I wrote two blogs called “Econoknits” and “Quiet Places Ribbons and Laces.” Each blog met its end during periods of my life where making fell by the wayside. But some of the patterns still get some views and use. I have moved them here so that anyone who needs them can get the same support and updates about my current work. I hope you enjoy this blast from my making past!
This pattern is just called “tiny flower” and it’s a simple flower motif that could be used for almost anything. If you’re using REALLY small thread (size 80), check out the littlest crochet flower pattern instead.
Tiny flower:
round 1: 8ch, join with sl st to first chain to form ring
round 2: 3ch, 24dc into ring, sl st to top of 3 ch
round 3: 6ch, skip 4 dc, sl st into next dc; repeat 3 more times, 6ch sl st into first ch
round 4: (1sc, 1hdc, 1dc, 7htr, 1dc, 1hdc, 1sc) into next 6ch space, repeat around, sl st into first sc, fasten off, weave in ends
